You want to start a new business. Set up how you want your business to operate. Include the different positions you will need to be filled and how you will advertise for new employees. The following information must be included in your project.

1. Invent a Spanish name for your new company.

2. Write a brief description of the type of business (include 3 details) and the type of employee you want to work for you (2 details).

3. Make a list of 5 different positions you will need to fit in.

4. From that list, choose 3 and write a 5-sentence job description for each one.

5. On a seperate piece of paper, create a large ad to place in the help wanted section of the local newspaper. Include a job description, the job requirements, the benefits, and how to apply for the job.

All this information must be type-written and double-spaced.

You will also give a brief oral presentation in which you will describe your new business and your advertisement to the class.

Grading:

A. Written presentation        27 points
        Criteria: specific requirements are met; clarity of content; comprehensibility; organization and presentation;                     accuracy; effort

B. Oral presentation             15 points
        Criteria: content; pronunciation; fluency; vocabulary; syntax

C. Advertisement                8 points
        Criteria: I will read your ad as if I were a potential applicant for the position, and determine the clarity of the                     information.

TOTAL POINTS: 40
