Content
   
    3    Complete. The speaker clearly conveys the paradise and provides details that are relevant and interesting.
    2    Generally complete. The speaker conveys the paradise, but does not provide adequate relevant details.
    1    Incomplete. The description is unclear. Details are random and irrelevant.

Comprehensibility
   
    3    Comprehensible. The speaker uses appropriate vocabulary to convey the paradise.
    2    Generally comprehensible. The message is unclear in places. The vocabulary is inadequate to make the message totally clear.
    1       Incomprehensible. The message could only be understood by a sympathetic native speaker. The vocabulary is inadequate or distorted by interference from English.

Fluency
   
    3    The student speaks very clearly without hesitation. Pronunciation and intonation sound natural.
    2    The student speaks with some hesitation. Problems with pronunciation and intonation do not prevent communication.
    1    The student hesitates frequently. Problems with pronunciation and intonation distort meaning and inhibit communication.

Accuracy
   
    3    Functions and grammar are used correctly.
    2    Minor problems in usage do not distort meaning or inhibit communication.
    1    Problems in usage significantly distort meaning and inhibit communication.

Eye Contact
   
    3    Excellent. Student uses brochure for reference only.
    2    Fair. The student often refers to the brochure but maintains some eye contact with the audience.
    1    Poor. The student uses brochure as a script and rarely looks at audience.
