Triad Venn Diagram

Tasks

After a few lessons on the four types of triads students will construct a venn diagram comparing and contrasting two types of triads. The first comparison will be of a major triad and a minor triad. This will be done in class on the chalkboard with everyone participating. Then the students will follow the same procedure on their own paper comparing and contrasting a major triad and an augmented triad. Finally they will construct a venn diagram for a minor triad and a diminished triad.


The following will be done in class and can be used as a model for the other two venn diagrams:
