#4:Navigating Naperville

 

             Task#4: Students will analysize their community of Naperville on

                        the internet by participating in a virtual tour.

 

Standard: Students will read with a purpose.

 

Process:

1. Students will review the SQ3R Reading Strategy (taught in the

     previous unit) that assists with comprehending expository text.

2. Students will work with a partner on the Navigating

     Naperville virtual tour website.

3. Students will read the information given on each bookmarked

     site and answer the questions in their packet which will be 

     used for a project later in the unit.

 

Criteria:

· Students will read the information with the purpose of

     understanding what they read and making connections to what

     Naperville is today.
