Material Investigation (Student Handout)

Scenario: Congratulations! You have successfully passed phase one of your client's needs. Mr. Jones has decided to accept your design. You are not in the clear yet though. You still have to investigate building materials to figure out what types of materials would be the best for Mr. Jones to use on his home. What you need to do is research all aspects of the construction of a home; from the foundation to the roof and everything inside and then come up with a list of materials that you think would best suit Mr. Jones' family. Once all materials are chosen, you must present them to Mr. Jones for his approval. It is very important that you do a good job because your boss will be at the presentation to see if you deserve your next raise.
