Does a Giant Squid Exist?

Now that we have covered most of the oceanography unit, I want you to research the idea of a giant squid living in the very depths of the ocean. You are going to have to write a 2 page journal entry on this topic.

You are going to be given 2 days in the library to research this topic. I want you to pair up with one other student and see if you can help each other out, as far as information that was found on-line. Even though you are going to be researching with another person, you are going to be responsible for your own journal. You may also have different views; one may think that the giant squid can live in the very depths of the ocean, and one may not.

I do not need your information to be cited, but I would like at lease five different web sites from which you found your information to support your idea(s).
