Math Biography

Task

Your job is to become acquainted with a famous mathematician and his/her contribution to mathematics.

Requirements:

1. Cover

- an appropriate display relating to the mathematician

2. Paper

- maximum of two pages double spaced
- important dates and places to the mathematician
- mathematical accomplishments
- interesting facts about his/her life
- indicate the two sources used

3. Classroom Presentation

- memorized
- one visual aid
- presented in the first person, as the mathematician
- three minute presentation maximum
- creative
- mathematical facts about the person are highlighted in the presentation
