Recently, the Bob Reid Jazz Quartet was playing in town. This was one of Tom's favorite groups. So he made plans to see their only local performance. He invited his friends to go along with him. His friends, however, wanted to go see a new movie,The molten point. They told him they were definitely going to see the movie. Tom decided to go to the movie with his friends.

When you turn over this page, please tell about the events in your own words. This is not a memory test. We are interested in people's understanding of social events and how they describe them in everyday life so that others can understand these events.
