Paper Assignment 4

Paper 4 can be completed individually or in a pair.  For Paper 4, choose from one of the following two options:

1) Find an article about a conflict between groups occurring outside the United States. Write an analysis of the article as if you were trying to explain to a friend or family member the following points:

• Briefly describe the conflict.
• Using and naming at least two social psychological concepts, explain how the conflict might have got started.
• Using and naming at least two other social psychological concepts, explain how the source(s) of the conflict is(are) possibly maintained.

2) Complete a paper assignment of your choice that allows you to apply and integrate course concepts. For example, there are quite a few possible paper topics listed at my social psychology resource website. You can pick one of those or come up with one on your own. However, you must have the topic approved by me to receive credit for it.

Note: You must turn in a copy of the article with your paper if you choose option 1.
