Read the article "First impressions..." and answer the following questions about it.

1. In the abstract, the authors say they have conducted five experiments, but they also talk about correlations. Later in the article the authors state that they conducted a series of studies. So, which is it, did they conduct studies, experiments, or correlational studies? Briefly explain.

2. How did the researchers determine if the judgments at 100ms were accurate or not?

3. Speculate a little: What do you think it is about a person's face that tells us they are or are not trustworthy in a fraction of a second?
