Assessment Assignment
Choose
any subject matter. To assess that topic, design either an authentic
assessment including standards, one or more tasks, criteria, and a
rubric OR a traditional assessment with at least ten items.
In
addition to presenting the assessment, provide the following:
1)
a list of the standard or standards the assessment is designed to
assess, including at least one process standard (in the case of an
authentic assessment);
2)
a rationale for each part or item in the assessment, using course
concepts to support your rationale;
3)
an evaluation of your assessment: Is it a good measure?
4)
indicate the grade level(s) for which your assessment is designed.
Audience:
Consider me, the instructor, as your audience. In other words, you
do not need to explain or describe the course concepts in your paper.
Just apply and synthesize them.
